Portta 3.5mm VGA Stereo Audio to HDMI Converter Scaler 720p/1080p

Delivered as promised - no issues and product was just what we needed.

This unit works with BASIC VGA modes: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 720x480, 1920x1080. What this unit does not support is the modes one needs to view BIOS information, DOS prompts or text modes. 720x400 is not supported, therefore DOS in not usable, along with classic video games that run EGA, CGA and 320x480 (QVGA) resolutions. If you are using this within Windows for basic GUI, this unit will work for that. However for everything outside of Windows, this unit can and is problematic.

I got this to connect an old 486 PC with a Chips and Technologies VLB 65545 VGA adapter. Granted, this product does not advertise the older resolutions or text mode resolutions, but neither do modern LCD monitors that still work with 700x400, 320x200, etc.This product CANNOT display BIOS or DOS screens. It can't handle old text mode resolutions. 320x200 did not work either. 640x480 was passable, but not centered. 1024x768 was severely off-center and image quality was very poor. Holding down the button for 5 seconds as the manual says does not resolve the issues.1024x768 is one of the supported resolution, so I returned this item.

Red text on the VGA monitor appears as Blue from this device and Blue appears as Red. Makes me believe the the connector or circuit is mis-wired between the Red and Blue inputs or output processing.I hope someone from the Mfg. has a resolution to this problem.

I ordered (3) of them and none of them passed the intended content. I am well versed in video conversion and am confident I used the product as intended. I bought a similar product and it worked instantly. I am now outside of the return policy and stuck with them. If the company were to issue a refund, I would increase their rating for their helpful costumer service.

Black screen when PC VGA out to TV HDMI in. didn't try different VGA resolutions to see if it would work. it's supposed to scale the video so it shouldn't matter what resolution the VGA signal is.

Easy hookup and perfect conversion. I did find out I needed to have the software on first, before sending the HDMI signal to the pc otherwise it would be out of sync with the other HDMI inputs on the video card.

My new tv did not have a vga input, but this device enabled me to connect my none hd computor back to my tv and I now have my computor display in hd. You just plug in your vga and audio computor outputs into the device and an ndmi cable goes to the tv. Plug in the converter's power supply and job done, old computor now firing on hd.

Fortuna che ho speso solo 6.99 trattandosi di un offerta.Purtroppo non è un upscaler. Passa solo il segnale. e lo passa davvero in malo modo.Ho provato Dreamcast con VGA e avevo lo schermo totalmente a sinistra,senza contare che a livello di qualità sembrava una scart o poco più.Sconsigliato a 6,99.Figuriamoci a prezzo pieno.
