These mounts work great if used properly. I used them to mount front and rear surround Definitive Pro Cinema speakers weighing 3lbs each. If you plan on mounting bookshelf or other speakers that weigh over 6 lbs I would choose a different style mount. The mounts were easy to install offer unlimited directional positioning of speakers and are attractive. The only complaint I have is with the dry wall anchors that come with the mounts. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and purchase four #8 Wall Driller nylon anchors ($1.50) to use on the top screw hole. Use the screws that come with the mounts. The anchors that come with the mounts work fine for the bottom screws. All they do is keep mounts from moving sideways. If the anchors had not been a problem I would rate the mounts 5 star.

These hold up my surround Def Tech speakers just fine. Once I got them pointed they stay put. They are highly configurable and can point about any direction. The only reason they are not 5 stars is that there is nowhere to hide the cable coming from the wall to the speaker. It looks ugly with the speaker wire just hanging out, but that may just be my taste. If there were a channel or hollow inside to run the cable through I would have liked it better. That said, these do deliver on holding and positioning the speakers.

I received the 4 wall mounts in a timely manner only to find that they do not hold 12 lb. speakers as advertised. When I opened the package and read the instructions it says we are not liable if the speaker weighs over 10 lbs. My speakers are 11 lbs. so I am very unhappy.

Brackets easy to mount. Great flexibility in speaker mounting to bracket and in aiming speaker.
