Costa Del Mar Mens Rinconcito Rectangular Sunglasses

This is my 3rd pair of Costa sunglasses and i love them all. They are all polarized and do a great job of blocking out the light. I have 1 pair with the polycarbonate (plastic) lenses, and two with the 580G or glass lenses. My advice is pay the extra and get the glass lenses, they are more scratch resistant and don't really add that much weight, i really can't tell the difference between them. Also if the lenses on the glass version scratch costa will replace them one time. You will be out of luck with the plastic ones.

Bought these sunglasses for my significant other. He loves them, says they are worth spending the money. Would definitely buy again.

Use this bad boys for golfing and I love them. Fits my face and head very well.Glasses lens make a huge difference too. I won’t get costa without glass lens.

Vary clear glass and comfortable. My only complaint is I would like the lens to be a tad bit bigger.

I have heard so much about Costa 580G sunglasses. Compared these Costa Green Mirror Copper Base lenses to several Oakley polycarbonate lensed sunglasses. The day was sunny with some clouds moving through so all sunglasses were tested under variable lighting conditions bright sun to clouds over the course of the day.The Oakley Prizm Polarized lenses on two different pairs of sunglasses were sharper and clearer. Those lenses were a gray base and copper base. The Oakley lenses on 3 other pair were Polarized only and no Prizm technology. Those lenses were a copper base and two gray bases. They were all sharper than the Costa. Can't explain it but for my eyes the Oakley's are superior. I liked the Rinconcito style and size but noticed that when removing the Rinconcito glasses the temples would squeak at the hinges. They were light weight for glass lenses and supposed to be very durable. Would not know about the durability since these glasses are being returned. My Oakey Polycarbonate lenses will not be as durable and are more likely to be scratched than the glass Costa. I am used to keeping them covered and a glasses case.So, I guess it all depends on the wearers eyes and the only way to find the right lens is to try different lenses. You cant really try a variety of lenses at a store under various lighting and reading conditions so that makes it difficult to really test them properly. I really wanted to like these glasses and keep them but the clarity just was not there, for me. Thanks.
