Allowed me to replace a proprietary interface with a normal one.

I have several old 24" HP All in one desktop computers that are so slow they are basically unusable at this point.I despise e-waste so I ordered one of these adapters, ripped the guts out of one of the computers, found a way to bodge this adapter in, and presto!Now I have a perfectly good 24" FHD monitor, with sound.I wasn't able to get the touch screen function to work because the cable for my monitor absolutely would not fit the adapter, but that's no big deal.Instructions were non-existent, but it was pretty easy to figure out where everything goes just visually.

I installed this in my Arcade1Up Asteroids cabinet and it worked great. This allowed my Raspberry Pi to drive the monitor so I could run Retropie and open up thousands of games.In my situation the inverter board was not needed, All I hooked up was the larger main board and the control panel strip (the one with the switches on it). Also be sure to mount the board to the wood part of the cabinet, the metal LCD panel housing can cause a short of the board is allowed to touch it.As a side note, before ordering this or any other HDMI adapter, be sure to read the model number off the back of your LCD panel and make sure it matches. All these boards look the same but are loaded with different firmware by the manufacturer for your LCD panels specifications. Mine was a M170ETN01.1.

This LVDS adapter works perfectly on a 2024 AtGames Legends Ultimate sold at Sams Club. The LCD power jumper came pre-installed on the 5v setting and the 23.8" BOE backlight cable plugs directly into the inverter board. I used the 30 pin LVDS cable that was already connected to the AtGames monitor and a 12v 3.3 amp power supply I already had.

I originally gave this a 1 star and wanted to update my review. I got the dreaded white screen and thought it blew my board or didn't work with my model. Well I gave up and ordered a Dell 17in to put in. As I was taking it apart to source the bezel for the new monitor... I saw iniside the 1up stock monitor some molex connectors were loose, and the inside of the screen the connector was glued on and cheap. I barely grabbed the cable when installing this board. Ended up fixing the monitor with widening the pins and some glue. Now this item works great. If you get the white screen, open the monitor and double check. Just a light tug can tear the molex connectors. Still keeping my new Dell monitor replacement on standby, but this product 100% works with my new mk2 cab!

Started smoking immediately! You can see the burn spot on the board in the pic. Luckily the monitor still works. I reordered another board, hopefully I have better luck.

I bought this to use the LVDS screen in the ALU with other HDMI output devices. This works great and very easy to install. It works right out of the box. You need plugin the secondary board (The LED board) since the panel is the LED type. Excellent option for those that want to upgrade their ALU MCU to something more powerful!
