Works with my 2015 MacBook Pro.

Really simple USB-MIDI interface, was very useful for running my Kawai M-8000 to my 2015 MacBook Pro. Excellent value.

Works well for helping older MIDI keyboards communicate with modern devices

This cable did the job, I had an old school M-Audio MIDI keyboard from early 2000s and would not plug and play with iPad (GarageBand) and adapters, but once I plugged the MIDI connectors in and the USB into my audio interface, it worked flawlessly with my GB virtual instruments.

Excellent for retro DOS gaming.

Allows a modern computer using DOSbox to connect to a Roland MT-32 or SC-55 to allow the best classic DOS audio. Works great for many old games!

Beware of wrong labels on the keyboard input an output.

When I switched computers to windows 11, my Ederol (now Roland) midi interface no longer worked with my Sibelius7 music writing program. When I installed this, it didn’t work until I realized that the keyboard inputs were labeled wrong. The in was out and the out was in. When I switched it around, the interface worked perfect.

Worked fine with no problems

I am glad I bought this less expensive MIDI adapter, instead of one that costs 3x more. I used it between my 23 year old RadioShack MD-1121 keyboard (a re-badged Casio CTK-671) and a Windows 11 laptop. Followed the instructions (in the Amazon product description) and it worked fine. I am using it with Synthesia and PianoBooster software. The MIDI interface is a digital signal, so spending more is not going to get you better sound quality. I am satisfied with the build quality also.

Plug and Play, easy compatibility

Works great on Windows 10, just plug and play. My BCR-2000's USB port was incompatible with my newer computer so this allowed me to continue using it. Work with more advanced features such as nrpn and 14-bit signals as well.

Didn't work...twice

This review is for the TENINYU USB to MIDI Cable Converter 2 in 1 PC to Synthesizer Music Studio Keyboard Interface Wire Plug Controller Adapter Cord (ASIN: B07L8KFYBK).I have now tried two and neither one worked. I connected the first one to the 'brain' for an electronic drum kit. The computer did recognize the interface and the power light came on but neither one of the data lights showed activity. I tried reversing the MIDI connectors and it still wouldn't pass data. Just to be sure the 'brain' was actually sending data I connected it to a different MIDI interface that I know works and sure enough, it wasn't the brain. I returned the first one and received a replacement a couple of days later (kudos to Amazon for the fast turn around). Same test, same results. I tried the interface on the drum 'brain' as well as two other keyboards that I use MIDI with extensively and are known to work properly in a MIDI environment and still no go.For geeks: This device is recognized by Win10 and shows up properly in Device Manager. It uses a generic driver and there is no other driver available on the TENINYU website. It is also recognized by Reaper (the DAW I use) but even after properly configuring the interface for use in Reaper, selecting the device as MIDI input for a track and readying the track for recording no data is being received. I am mainly interested in getting the MIDI info from a drum brain into Reaper, not playing back MIDI info to the brain. Once the MIDI info from the drum kit is recorded I will be playing it back and sending it to other synths, both hardware and software based. Because of this, I didn't really test the ability to send MIDI info through this interface from the computer to the drum 'brain'. I used usbdeview to see the USB connection information and also to remove instances of the interface before trying some other troubleshooting thing. There were also numerous reboots. I also tried a couple of different computers, just in case that had something to do with the failure to communicate. Finally, I don't think this is user error. While MIDI isn't particularly friendly, I've been working with it since the early '80s and understand its idiosyncrasies well.In the end, I spent as much time as I could on this and can't waste anymore, so they both are being returned and I'll have to find a better, working solution.

Good price but feels cheap/low quality

Cable arrived quickly and works. It’s does feel cheap and I had a hard time plugging it into my midi port. I should have spent a little more cash and got a better one. That said, this one does work fine and is good price but it could break eventually due to force needed to plug it in and unplug it
