Black fluorescent beads arrived today. Just for fun I decided to count what was in the package. Package should have contained 50 beads, however there were only 46 beads in the package. Based on the price of $9.99 per package plus tax of $.60 each the cost per bead cost S/b $.212 per bead. The real cost of this shorted package was $.230 per bead. 90 cents per package is not a lot of money however I ordered 16 total packages. Are all the packages going to be short? Am I going to loose $14.40 on this total order? Will I end up counting every package.

Likes: good weight for the 4mm size, came with 50 beads as advertised.Dislikes: had to mash barb on hook to get over the point, and slotted end of bead slipped over eye of hook.These slotted beads are for jig hooks which is why I bought them. But I'm thinking they're meant more for barbless hooks because they did not easily slide onto the hooks I was using. I had to mash the microbarb on these Umpqua size 10 hooks... which again is here not there. I have to say that on such a small hook, the damage caused by the barb is less significant that the hook point itself. So having to mash the barb is a bit annoying. So Aventik, if you care to really cater to your customers maybe look at the design of the bead hole. Otherwise the product is good, and maybe if this is the wrong brand of hook to be using mention the brands that your products works with better.

I'm a big fan of tungsten in clear and pressured waters. Especially when fish are targeting smaller insect patterns. These keep the profile small yet are heavy enough to keep the fly down towards the bottom. Love the color options these guys offer and you can't beat the price.

Looks good but the grove for the hook is way to big. Less weight and makes it hard to mount the bead. The 3.5 mm bead just wobbles more then any other bead I have used.

Excellent product to make fishing fly's.
